Decontaminate Ambulances

NAS have played significant role in safely moving suspected C-19 patients from their homes to hospitals where they can receive intensive care. As a result there is considerable concern over possible contamination of the ambulances.

NAS has recently undergone a training session lead by Dr. Sindhya Rajeev of Stanford University School of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine regarding disinfecting the ambulances for prevention against COVID-19. The focus was on using inexpensive locally available materials, such as the use of chlorine water, home made sanitiser (with ingredients being 2ml glycerine in 100ml of spirit), use of thick masks, especially N95 masks, and not just the use of common dust masks.
