A letter of understanding was signed on 6 April 2020 by the president of NAS Ranjit Acharya with Nepal Government's Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee, Kathmandu Metropolitan City & Ministry of Health to specifically address and acknowledge NAS’ role in support of the government's response to Covid-19.
NAS has assigned 5 fully equipped ambulances with trained EMTs to handle patients suspected of Covid-19. This recognition and endorsement by government is an appreciated acknowledgement of NAS’ competence and professionalism.
